Writing: There is a lot of content in this issue trying to establish the baseline information to drive the story forward. This was a pretty enjoyable read, but there was a lot going on so I was left with a feeling of not really being sure where this is going to go. I'll keep up with this title as now I'm sufficiently invested to want to see what's going on here.

Artwork: The art was well done and added to the storyline. Probably my biggest gripe with it was that some of the dialog was placed in such a way as to make it a bit hard to figure out what came next. I would attribute this to panels that were placed poorly.

Overall: 3 stars. This was a pretty good read. there was enough going on in this issue that I need to read subsequent issues to really get a feel for where this story is headed.

Writing: A solid vampire owns goth club story intersecting with some rival human gangs.  Nothing stood out as new or innovative to me, but it was a well written story.

Artwork: Nicely drawn, supported the story well.  Nothing stood out either positively or negatively for me on the artwork.

Overall: 3 stars.   I'd read the next issue out of curiosity to see where this is going, but I don't really feel attached to any of the characters.  This is definitely a 'mature' title, with violence, nudity (although it was pretty tastefully done), and drug references.

Writing: I'm with the others on the writing and the story.  I thought the writing and dialog was quite good, but the story never really hooked me in completely.  I'd be interested to see where it goes in the future but if the next issue doesn't hook me in I'm not sure how interested I'd be in future issues.

Artwork: Again, I agree that the artwork was good (not great, but good).  I don't really have much else to add.

Overall: 3 stars. It may seem from my write up that I was indifferent to this title and that would be accurate.  I'm not a big Vampire genre fan so the fact that I gave it a 3 maybe is a victory.  I'd just like to see a little more originality in this title.
