This is part 1 of a three part series.

On the first read, this comic was decidedly disappointing and seemed that it didn't live up to it's initial premise. However the moon must not have been aligned just right for on the second read the story became very compelling and challenging. I did take a bit off on my rating for too much interaction between the members of Karma Incorporated. More focused interaction between a few members would have perhaps served the story better.

The character interaction was interesting and the story fast paced. The premise of an organization that is devoted to giving folks a bad day was an outstanding concept. The humor was engaging and nicely broken up. On the whole, an entertaing read. I'm looking forward to seeing where the next 2 parts take us.

Artwork: (Color) The artwork in the comic was a bit choppy for my taste, however it basically fit the story and didn't detract from a good read.

Overall Grade: 4 ...if we had a 4 1/2 rating I probably would have uped my rating but since not, I'll give "Karma Incorporated" a four with high expectations for future issues.

I disagree with Stefan on the Karma Incorporated character interactions. I think that the amount of interaction was necessary to show the build-up of bad karma that they've been accumulating from what they've been doing to others. Related to that, my take on the premise of the story was "the implosion of an organization devoted to giving folks a bad day".

Artwork: It felt appropriate to the story. It didn't draw me in, but it didn't detract from the story either.

Overall Grade: 4 stars. I definitely want to see how this one plays out

I also enjoyed this book. I thought it was a unique concept and I liked seeing the office dynamics. (I hope there is more of this in future editions)

Artwork: The cartoonish artwork was really enjoyable.

Overall: I'll make it easy to do the average and give it a 4 also. I'm looking forward to the next 2 issues. (Do they really need to stop at 3 issues..bummer?)
