Review: Warrior Twenty-Seven is the strongest anthology title I've yet come across. It covers its bases with quality artwork, quality writing, and enough genuine - but themed - variety to neither alienate nor bore. More than that, the stories within this book - particularly the narrative-heavy "The Palace of Winds" - leave you wanting more information on the characters and the worlds being depicted. All told, this is a pretty tasty collection involving some very talented storytellers.
Overall: 4 stars.

Review: While anthologies are usually a mixed bag, I found the stories in this one to be consistently enjoyable. While I wished some of them were longer or had more details, they all managed to tell a complete story.
Overall: 4 stars. A very strong anthology.

Review: I'm going to agree with Bob in the fact that all the stories in this book are fairly strong. I liked how all the stories revolved around relationships. This tied the stories together in a theme, but don't think that all the stories are sappy love stories or are all generally the same in nature, far from it. The stories range from the consequences of cheating on you spouse to the desire of a cowboy to get back to his family after "doing one more job".
Overall: 4 stars. Sometimes you give an extra star to a rating for things outside of just how good the book is. In this case, for the price, this is an even better read.
