Review: I have to say that this issue seemed a little too condensed for my taste. There was a lot going on and it all had merit and a reason for being incorporated, but it felt like not nearly enough space was given to each component piece. The overall impression was of an issue that turned on an incredibly narrow dime (see: Bob's comments on Toy Boy's tears). Not horrible, but hopefully something that'll be tuned up in future issues.
Overall: 3 stars.

Review: The story picks up the pace a little in this issue, connecting the villians between some of the story threads, and filling in some more background on Toy Boy and his brother. I thought Toy Boy's tears when talking about his role in his brother's condition were a little overstated. I continue to appreciate the fact that the heroes are deeper than your standard two-dimensional superheroes, but not in a preachy or "dark for darkness sake" way.
Overall: 4 stars. I think this title has hit its stride.

Review: I enjoyed the first two issues of this series, but this one, I just had a problem getting into the early part of the book. Fortunately, the last part picked up a bit for me and the ending leaves us with multiple things to look forward to .
Overall: 3 stars. There seemed like a lot going on in this issue...it was just OK for me.
