Writing:  We have reviewed a number of titles from "Americanime Productions" and I think I've enjoyed every title with the possible exception of this one.  I gave the first issue a three star rating, but this one I found to be sort of like an action movie without any story at all.  On top of that, did I miss issue 1.5 or something because this just didn't seem to mesh with the first issue.  I guess its possible that it will all come together in the next issue or some where down the road, but I can only comment on what I've read so far.

Some of the action sequences are pretty cool, but the story line just seems too thin to carry this story along.  In this issue, a bunch of Nazi soldiers are looking for a bunch of resistance fighters..though I can't say why they are doing this...I guess it was something from the first issue, but I don't recall it. (We do read quite a few titles though so I do forget things from time to time though.

Artwork: I'm not going to change my tune from the last issue.  Sometimes less is more, especially when dealing with B/W.  It can be confusing as to what is going on because of the amount of scattered lines on the page.

Overall: 2 stars. A bit disappointing for me since I've liked most titles from this publisher. Hopefully in later issues some things will start to tie together...but until then I feel like I have to give this a 2.

Writing: There were a few dialog issues that stood out in this issue. The drunk Russian had a number of lines that were off, and I could not tell if it was to emphasize his drunkenness or not. They were off enough that I had to re-read them a few times, breaking the flow of the story. I found the soldier's self diagnosis of a collapsed lung a little out of character.

Artwork: I had an easier time following most of the action in this issue, but the artwork is still not really working for me.

Overall: 3 stars. There is a part of me that wants to like this book more, but it still feels a bit rough around the edges. I will keep reading it to see if it can hit its stride.

Writing: I'm not sure I'm getting this title. It started with a super soldier created by the Nazi's turning on them and this issue was about resistance fighters of some nature. I'm feeling that either this story is going to develop into a coherent whole or that I'm missing something somewhere. I'm probably in Bob's camp where I think I should like this title since it is one of the quirkier titles I've read recently, but something just feels off to me. Perhaps subsequent issues will help clarify my position on this comic

Artwork: This is fairly jaggy artwork. I didn't really care for the style and I thought it didn't really add or detract from the story.

Overall: 3 stars. I'm giving this a three more because I'm not really sure where I stand with this title. I'll probably get a better handle on my feelings on this title in future issues.
