Review:  I absolutely adored this title!  The idea of writing a "Who cares how!?  The guy can fly!?" type series is so obviously uncharted, it's a little surprising that nobody's tried it til now.  Bizarre New World pulls it off exceptionally well.  I really liked being in Paul's head as he tries to make sense of and later enjoy his oddly timed gift.  I have to admit that the twist in issue #3 threw this off a little and definitely changed the dynamic of the story for me, but that could just be a lull before whatever issue #4 holds in store.

Whatever else I can say about the title, it's definitely an engrossing read and Paul is a great lead character - very human in the best of ways.  The art is also very expressive and captivating, making it an excellent complement to the writing here.

Overall: 5 stars.

Review:  I have to basically agree with Alex on this one.  You can't help but enjoy the wonder that is put in front of you as an everyday guy realizes that he can fly.  Beyond the story, the artwork again, really shows the awe that this man has as he discovers what he can (and can't) do.

I think there were only two things that is keeping me from going with the same 5 star rating that Alex gave and they are as follows.  First, there was maybe just a tad to many panels of Paul flying and nothing else going on.  The second is very minor, but when I was reading the story and Paul picks his boy up for a day together, I really was hoping for a little more backstory on Paul and his past with the boy and the boy's mom.

Two minor points though...check this one out.

Overall: 4 stars.
